When a patient presenting with stroke symptoms arrives at AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ Memorial Hospital's emergency department, time is of the essence. Remote consult technology ensures faster access to stroke experts and emergency stroke treatment.

Of the 41 fourth-year students in the Tufts University School of Medicine â€� AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ Maine Medical Center Maine Track program, 11 will be spending their residencies in Maine.

Part of the National Institutes of Health RECOVER Initiative, trials will test two treatments for exercise intolerance and post-exertional malaise.

To help introduce their expanded team of certified nurse midwives (CNMs) to the community, AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals will hold a “Meet the Midwivesâ€� event on Thursday, March 20, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The event will be held at AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ Obstetrics and Gynecology Rockport, located on the MHPBH campus in Rockport at 3 Glen Cove Drive, Suite 1.
