NORWAY, Maine 鈥 An experienced health care leader with more than 20 years in hospital and ambulatory leadership positions across the country has been selected as the next president of Western Maine Health / Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Jeff Noblin, FACHE, who most recently served as the CEO of a West Virginia hospital, replaces Andrea Patstone, who was promoted to the role of coastal region president within AOA体育平台.

鈥淎ll of us on the search committee were impressed with Jeff. He presents as a warm and engaging leader who prioritizes support for the local community in addition to his organization鈥檚 care team,鈥 said Trampas Hutches, president of AOA体育平台鈥檚 mountain region, which includes Western Maine Health in Norway, Franklin Community Health Network in Farmington and Memorial Hospital in North Conway, N.H.

Noblin has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and has held several leadership positions throughout his career, including more than 15 years as a hospital CEO. He most recently served as the chief executive officer of Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, W.V. Prior to that, he held executive positions at hospitals and healthcare systems throughout the country, including in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Noblin holds a master鈥檚 degree in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C., as well as a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business and Communications from Furman University in Greenville, S.C.

Noblin, who will start in his new role in Norway on Monday, April 10th, says he is excited about leading Western Maine Health and contributing to the leadership team of the Mountain Region within AOA体育平台. He said the combination of working in a community as livable and dynamic as Norway and greater-Oxford County, as well as joining the region鈥檚 leading integrated healthcare system in AOA体育平台, made for a very attractive opportunity.

鈥淭his community offers so much, including a local health care organization with a strong tradition and track record of excellence,鈥 said Noblin. 鈥淚鈥檓 excited to be a part of the team that will build on that tradition and work with our team to make Norway and greater-Oxford County one of the healthiest communities in the nation.鈥
