My passion for primary care started early in my training when I realized that the specialty meant I would be exposed to a wide range of medical conditions and allow me to develop long-term partnerships with people. Despite the radical changes in health care delivery over the 30 years since I embarked on this journey, my patients continue to inspire me and I remain fascinated by the practice of medicine.
