For me, Maine is clearly the way life should be. I鈥檝e raised my two kids here and am proud to work at Maine Medical Center as a hospitalist. Inpatient medicine has given me a satisfying, intellectually challenging career characterized by daily opportunities to learn something new. I especially enjoy translating the complexity of inpatient care for patients and their families and strive to help them negotiate potentially trying episodes in their lives. A good outcome is defined by a patient who feels listened to and treated with empathy and respect.
