My approach to children and families is that the brain is an organ, and it needs medical attention sometimes just like the rest of the body. I try to be a tour guide as much as a physician, explaining how the mental health system works and supporting getting the right diagnosis and proper treatment fast, so that kids can get back to being kids. I am relatively new to MMC, hailing from Wisconsin by way of Vermont. In this gorgeous place we live now, my family and I love to sail, ski, and explore Maine beaches.
