Two credit rating agencies continued to give northern New England’s largest health system high marks for its financial strength even though the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant financial impact.

FCC awarded AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ for costs associated with rapidly expanding the health system’s telehealth infrastructure and technology in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The COVID-19 outbreak doesn’t diminish the need for donated blood for patients with other urgent and serious conditions, but it is having a severe impact on donations.

The decision is meant to better position the health system to care for those impacted by the coronavirus outbreak and reduce community spread of the disease.

The first presumptive positive case in Maine is followed by additional presumptive positive cases detected at AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ organizations.
