AOAÌåÓýƽ̨’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Rockport is moving to a new location.

Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) is excited to welcome Brien Davis, FNP, a primary care provider who has owned Hope Health Family Practice in Camden for many years.

Operated jointly by Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital, the clinics in Belfast and Rockport allow for easy registration and a smooth flow of patients through initial screening to registration to vaccination.

The Acute Respiratory Clinic (ARC), which conducts drive-thru COVID-19 testing at 731 Commercial St. in Rockport across from the Oakland Park Bowling Lanes, will continue to see patients by appointment Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ARC will no longer schedule appointments for Sundays.

As part of the historic nationwide effort to inoculate millions of people against COVID-19, AOAÌåÓýƽ̨, which includes Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital, will open the area’s first COVID-19 vaccination clinics for the general public on January 27.

Hours after the arrival of the Pfizer vaccine at its hospitals, AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ began inoculating team members who provide direct care to patients infected with the novel coronavirus.

Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) is celebrating the opening of a new 42,000-square-foot Health Center on its Rockport campus � and the opportunity it presents to expand and improve access to primary care in our coastal communities.

All five AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ hospitals eligible for a grade from Leapfrog received the highest safety score offered.

The health system expects to be able to vaccinate all its front-line care team members following the delivery of a second allotment that is expected to include both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Reflecting its commitment to quality and accurate testing, the Vascular Lab at Pen Bay Medical Center has earned an additional three years of accreditation in the areas of extracranial cerebrovascular, peripheral venous and peripheral arterial testing
