Consistent with our commitment to help prevent further community spread of COVID-19 and to safeguard our colleagues, Franklin Memorial Hospital has implemented further changes to our visitor policies.

To better support all of the care team members working on behalf of its patients and communities, Franklin Community Health Network, together with AOAÌåÓýƽ̨, has issued new policies to support employees.

Franklin Memorial Hospital announces that it implementing temporary visitor restrictions effective March 17. This is being done, in part, to prevent or limit community spread of the novel coronavirus (also known as COVID-19).

The decision is meant to better position the health system to care for those impacted by the coronavirus outbreak and reduce community spread of the disease.

Franklin Health Pediatrics announces that the practice is temporarily suspending walk-in urgent care services for its established patients effective Monday, March 16. A parent of a child with an urgent care condition is asked to call the practice first.

The first presumptive positive case in Maine is followed by additional presumptive positive cases detected at AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ organizations.

Expectant moms can now participate in their prenatal care as never before, thanks to group visits supporting pregnancy, a new approach to pregnancy care at Franklin Health Women’s Care.

Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is offering a free “Cooking Matters at the Store� shopping tour event at the Farmington Hannaford on Wednesday, March 4 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

In Franklin County, Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) has been identified as the Community Distributor for naloxone. This means anyone in the community who feels they need access to naloxone can contact HCC to receive a free naloxone kit along with education on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose.

Jacob Ledesma, MD, has joined the Franklin Memorial Hospital medical staff as a provider at Franklin Health Internal Medicine and on the hospital’s inpatient unit. He is accepting new patients.
