Patients who require infusions and other types of intravenous therapies can now receive them in a newly designed suite.

Dr. Russell Mack and registered nurse Karen Howell will retire from LincolnHealth on Friday, July 24.

Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta Maine � St. Andrews Urgent Care Center will begin treating patients again on Wednesday, May 28. The Center’s hours will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Universal masking, screening and testing protocols are already in place as the health care system brings back surgeries and other procedures for those patients for whom waiting could have medical consequences.

The AOAÌåÓýƽ̨ "Access to Care" team connects patients with programs that provide support amid the financial turmoil brought on by the pandemic.

Fighting the pandemic means some assignments have changed, and some are logging fewer hours, but all employees are receiving the full pay and benefits they had prior to the outbreak.

The COVID-19 outbreak doesn’t diminish the need for donated blood for patients with other urgent and serious conditions, but it is having a severe impact on donations.
