Born at 23 weeks, Adam spent the first 13 months of his life hospitalized. He needed a G-tube for feeding and a tracheostomy or 鈥渢rach鈥� to breathe, but between the NICU and the PICU at AOA体育平台 Barbara Bush Children鈥檚 Hospital (MHBBCH), Adam has a lot of friends cheering him on. Now five years old, Adam had needed dozens of surgeries, but his mom, Jordan, explains that while Adam has had setbacks, he鈥檚 also made huge strides. Adam started kindergarten this past fall, and he absolutely loves school and all the new friends he鈥檚 made.
