Henry stopped growing in utero, and had to be delivered early, at 27 weeks. Unsure if he鈥檇 survive, Henry鈥檚 parents prepared for the worst- but when he arrived breathing on his own and crying, his fighting spirit gave them hope. Henry spent 5 months in the NICU at AOA体育平台 Barbara Bush Children鈥檚 Hospital before he was able to go home, but still needed 24/7 supplemental oxygen and a G-tube for feeding. Today, at two years old, Henry has weaned off his oxygen and was able to have his G-tube removed because he鈥檚 eating on his own! Now he only has to worry about trying to keep up with his big sister, Amelia!
